Sprague Library Renovation
The library originally opened in 1928 and was selected as the “Most Beautiful Library in America” in 1935. The branch library sustained significant water damage during a flood in July 2017, and the library needed renovations within the existing footprint of the building without any building additions.
In October 2018, a preliminary design was presented to the public, Sugarhouse Chamber of Commerce, and the Community Council. MOCA Services managed and facilitated throughout this entire process to ensure the public received an updated interior that continues to mirror the bold vintage style and its historic exterior.
MOCA Services worked closely with stakeholders, Chambers of Commerce, and the community to deliver a space close to its originality and historic presence in an urban environment.
