Wyoming Capitol Square Project: A National Model for Project Delivery Excellence
The Wyoming Capitol Square Project stands as a model of excellence in historic preservation, collaborative project delivery, and public stewardship. This video highlights the transformation of Wyoming’s historic State Capitol and Capitol Complex, a project that restored one of the nation’s most significant civic landmarks while improving accessibility, safety, and public engagement.
Featuring perspectives from project leaders and state officials, including former Wyoming Governor Matthew H. Mead and former Capitol Oversight Committee Chairman Tony Ross, the video explores the challenges, innovations, and partnerships that helped realign the project and achieve a successful outcome. Through its Continuous Alignment® process, MOCA Services partnered with the Wyoming State Construction Department, JE Dunn Construction, HDR Architecture, and project stakeholders to restore the Capitol’s historic character, control costs, and deliver the project on time and under budget. The result is a renewed People’s House that honors Wyoming’s legacy while serving future generations.
