MOCA Services provided cost estimating services for the Salt Lake City Mosquito Abatement District’s Phase 2 facilities upgrade. This project involves the design and construction of state-of-the-art facilities to enhance the district’s operational capabilities in mosquito control and public health.
The facilities upgrade project includes the design and construction of a 14,936 SF hangar facility, bioassay laboratories, pesticide laboratory, and comprehensive site upgrades. MOCA Services’ cost estimation process focused on delivering an accurate financial framework to guide the design and execution phases. The estimate utilized parametric methods, accounting for area cost factors, contractor markups, and specialized construction requirements.
