
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) – Tulsa District: Tinker Air Force Base
MOCA Services provided cost estimating support for the Case Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) Shop renovation at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. This $8.9M project upgraded Building 3001 to modern operational standards, improving aircraft engine inspection and maintenance capabilities.
The renovation included HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire alarm, and process system upgrades across multiple work areas, including penetrant, rinse, touch-up, developer, oven dryer, and aspiration booths. Facility-wide improvements addressed industrial waste systems, electrical distribution, fire alarms, and loading dock equipment. Optional additions included new industrial waste drains, booth lighting, soil disposal, and heavy metal dust abatement.
MOCA Services supported the project by preparing cost estimates at key design phases, including a Charrette Confirmation Notice Cost Estimate, Draft and Final RFP Cost Estimates, and a Corrected Final RFP Submittal Cost Estimate & Construction Schedule.
The completed upgrades ensure more efficient aircraft maintenance operations at Tinker Air Force Base, supporting mission readiness and compliance with modern standards.
