MOCA Systems, Inc. provided Owner’s Project Representation services for the Microsoft Office Suite in Minneapolis, a 40,000 SF renovation project with a total budget of $13.5M located at 100 Washington Ave S, Suite 1950, on the 18th and 19th floors.
The project transformed existing office space into a modern, collaborative environment designed to support Microsoft employees and customers. Work included new furniture, fixtures, equipment, audio-visual systems, security systems, and network infrastructure to create a state-of-the-art workplace.
As Owner’s Representative, MOCA partnered with OAC Services to oversee the project through its entire life cycle, ensuring it was delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with Microsoft’s goals. The team collaborated with Microsoft’s Owner’s Program Manager, CBRE, and worked closely with the contractor, JE Dunn, to provide:
- Weekly site visits, inspections, and field reports with photo documentation
- Ongoing coordination and issue resolution during construction
- Facilitation of stakeholder meetings and progress reporting
- Support through close-out activities, including punch list completion, warranty management, final payments, and occupancy permits
MOCA Services’ leadership, in partnership with OAC, ensured the project met all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. The result was a highly functional, innovative office environment that reflects Microsoft’s culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer engagement.
