Manhattan University Facility Condition Assessment & Space Inventory Assessment
MOCA Services delivered a comprehensive Facility Condition Assessment and Space Inventory Assessment for Manhattan University (MU), covering 1.4 million square feet across 19 campus facilities in the Bronx, New York.
Using MOCAPlan®, MSI’s web-based data collection and asset management platform, the team conducted complete facility walkthroughs to verify existing floor plans and assess current space utilization. All data was electronically submitted weekly to ensure consistent communication and quality control.
MOCA Systems’ assessment included detailed inspections of academic buildings, residence halls, chapels, athletic centers, and community spaces. The team documented space use, occupancy, departmental allocation, and physical features such as walls, doors, and windows, ensuring every floor plan accurately reflected current conditions.
The final deliverable included verified, color-coded floor plans, a summary report with findings and methodology, and supporting data to guide decision-making.
